Involuntary Muscle Contractions

#1

Does anyone else have involuntary muscle contractions? I'm not talking about the normal muscle twitching or shakes.

Over the past 3-4 weeks, each night when I go to bed, before I go to sleep, I start having pretty sever muscle contractions. My wife tells me I have these contractions go on all night when I'm asleep, I guess I wake her with my movements. Mornings have been the worst, with the contractions happening with increase intensity and frequency and lasting 5 - 10 minutes. Prior to today, once I got out of bed and started moving the contractions stopped. This morning was a different story. After two days of feel very good and having very few morning contractions, this morning I woke up to total body contractions with a very high intensity and frequency for about 45 minutes. Getting out of bed didn't help as it always has in the past. After about 45 minutes, the contractions eased in frequency and intensity, but still continued until about 10:00 AM. Since I woke up this morning around 6:30 that is a total of 3.5 hours of involuntary muscle contractions.

I'm just wondering if anyone else has similar issues and if you have found anything that helps.

Any feedback or suggestions would be very welcome.

I had muscle contractions like you are speaking of but they usually lasted about 10 mins and not like the almost long hour one, but since you didn't start off having them that way I look forward to them increasing (not!!) Mine would not go away with standing, massage, heat or anything I would have to just wait them out.
