My first moan

#1

5hBy 9I’m 77 and 2 1/2 Years in September before the flu jab out of a double medium to hard dose of GBS.

I’m about 90% good now and really enjoy life. I go to physio twice a week.

In September before the flu jab was available here in
Denmark, I got influenza, then I got pneumonia and then I got water in my lungs. All this was carefully monitored and treated by my GP.

Now I’m fighting for breath when I want to sleep and coughing like mad. Have a dr. Appointment at noon today. My lovely warm bed has become my enemy. I’m usually awake from 3 am onwards, tonight being no exception.

End of rant. Thanks for listening.

Here is the update on my rant. I was admitted to hospital with cardioflimmer and given an electro shock after emptying my lungs via medicine.
Now my heart is back in rhythm and everything is working well.

Wow you have had a rough time. I’m glad that you went to the hospital and they were able to help you. I wish you a speedy recovery and that the new year brings a healthier year ahead.

Merry Christmas
Pam

Hang in there. I have my first cold since my GBS-CIDP diagnosis back in March 17’
Hoping for side effects.

NO side effects. LOL

I had my first cold in November which included sinus infection. The doctor gave me antibiotics which helped so I guess my infection was bacterial but i was very concerned for awhile. Sorry to hear you had such health problems X, that sounds very scary. Pneumonia is not to be taken lightly. No more flu shots for me but I might get the pneumonia vaccine.
