Does anyone know if things like wheatgrass, spirulina, chlorella and other “green superfoods” are good for people with cidp? I’ve tried them off and on for the last month and they seem to give me more energy. But am concerned as they have immune boosting properties, which on the one hand makes them great for people normally, but does that have a counter productive effect if you have cidp? If anyone knows, especially if you should definitely not have them, please could you let me know. Am in the UK and don’t know much about cidp really. Many thanks.
That concept confuses me too. I took prednisone to lessen my immune response. And eating something to make it strong is conflicting. I am guessing immune health and response are compartmentalized in some way. I know there is less chance of an exacerbation when I am doing well. When I get sick everything is worse. I had a minor surgery and my immune system kicked in and I had a profound setback. I try and stay healthy so my immune system has no excuse to go into overdrive. I have a very healthy diet, take supplements and I am doing well.

I often go to GBS resources to read into CIDP. Here ]is a list of preventative measures for GBS.
