Coping being a parent with CMT

My husband and I want to start a family soon but I’m petrified of how I’ll cope
physically with a new born baby and eventually a toddler. Does anyone have any advice they can give?

Having Cmt can be exhausting when you are on your legs all day. But I don't let this disease stop me from living my life. I raised two children and I work full time. I wear AFO'S and I had to make adjustments as to how I do things. You need to ask yourself, "what are you afraid of?" To be petrified is extreme, CMT is not life threating. I would be more concerned with passing CMT onto my offspring. My two children have CMT. REMEMBER: If there is the will to have children, you'll find away to be the best you can be.
