Hope you are finding Joy in your holiday activity!
Just to remind all of you, that even though this is the season for family gatherings ,and for lots of activity and joy shared, we with chronic illness can suffer from depression for varied reasons. Sometimes it comes after things start to slow down ,company leaves or you're returning home.
Be sure to pace yourselves, and join in when you feel comfortable but find alternatives to over doing your energy. Fatigue is one of the biggest contributors to depression. We don't handle things with balanced emotions when we physically are exhausted. Take naps, extra soaks in the bath and sip warm tea or coffee to relax and release tension. Maybe, someone could kindly give you a foot rub to help you let go!
